An afternoon cycling around Kashiba

An afternoon cycling around Kashiba

I love taking my camera on my bicycle, roaming around and taking pictures.

I think there's a real sense of serendipity to it. You never know what you're going to get, but it's almost always worth going out in the end. On that day, I brought my Lumix 100-400mm lens, which is great for animal photography.

I started by going to Osaka-Yamaguchi Jinja, where I found a lot of animals enjoying the warm temperatures.

This cat was a beauty. The lighting was just perfect, all I had to do was press the shutter.

Of course, I did not only take pictures of animals.

The plums were blossoming near the shrine

Then, I went more in the outskirts of the city, where I saw two children with their mother and grandfather flying kites.

I love this design. They're attached like a chain, and I took a picture just when the wind made them look like a ring.

Afterwards, I went around the neighbouring city: Katsuragi.
