Autumn Hike in Okutama

This year, we had a relatively late summer, which means that the period for viewing autumn leaves was also impacted. These pictures were taken on 21 November, but many of the leafages were still green. Nonetheless, the temperature outside was ideal for hiking.

We started from the Kori (古里) station—not furusato, although it's written the same—and walked up to Okutama (奥多摩). This is a 3½ hour-walk, but it's worth it in terms of the view.

There was this wasabi shop, and this wasabi mascot which weirdly resembles a heart that we saw at the town hall.

We then went to a cute cafe that was recommended to me by a friend.

Finally we went all the way to Okutama dam. We arrived just in time to see the sunset (or at least guess it through the clouds).
